Interactive Installation for Vans/AW Lab
This interactive installation is a complex machine that creates physical artifacts starting from the data flow generated by the skaters’ movements on a skate ramp equipped with sensors.
Client: Vans Off The Wall/AW Lab
Technique: Interactive projections, cnc laser cutting machines, 3d printers connected to a skate ramp with motion sensors
Idea & Creation: Mammafotogramma with Mauro Ferrario and Neologie

This numerical data originating from the movement, is transmitted to 3D printers, laser machinery and CNC that in real time produce sculptural objects whose shapes and volumes are directly related to the digital inputs produced through the action of the skaters. Movement, play, digital processing and concrete plastic forms are therefore connected by one single generative process.
